Saturday 28 February 2026 - Bridgetown, Barbados
Welcome aboard! Your cruise begins on the wild and beautiful east coast of Barbados. The isolated beaches are the colour of sunrise, the red sands having blown all the way across the Atlantic from the Sahara. The easternmost island of the Windwards, and indeed of the entire Caribbean, reaches out to Africa and the Old World, as if not quite part of the New. Bridgetown, Barbados is an interesting town full of contrasts. George Washington actually slept here! Trafalgar Square reminds you that the laidback, rum and fun-loving island has a British influenced heritage that includes revered traditions like cricket and high tea.

The Royal Clipper usually anchors in the lee of ruggedly beautiful Young Island lying just 54 feet off the southern tip of St. Vincent which is only a 10 minute ferry ride away. The natural harbour of Port Elizabeth at Bequia awaits and the exquisite waterfront beckons you for a gentle stroll along the harbour.
Thursday 5 March 2026 - Fort de France, Martinique

ENTERTAINMENT
RICHARD THOMPSON
Richard Thompson has been described as “the finest rock songwriter after Dylan and the best electric guitarist since Hendrix”. We don’t disagree, except to say that his work on acoustic guitar is also sensational. Thompson’s engaging energy and onstage wit continue to earn him new fans and a place as one of the most distinctive virtuosos and writers in Folk Rock history. His influence cannot be overstated. Everybody, from Robert Plant to Don Henley and from Elvis Costello to R.E.M., has covered his music. Five years after his 19th solo album release, the critically acclaimed ’13 Rivers’, Thompson’s follow up album ‘Ship to Shore’ is his latest masterpiece.

FAQS
We look after you every step of the way
We are a small experienced team who look after you from first enquiry, right through to the end of your holiday. The same people who help you with your booking, will be in the resort or on the cruise to look after you. We are extremely proud of the personal service that we provide and when you need to get in touch, there are no call centres, just the same people you've always being dealing with. Need help with flights, care hire or extra nights? ...we are just a phone call away.
