Coach to Galway

for

GALWAY UKE FESTIVAL

Join us on this fabulous trip to the Galway Uke Fest! Gearing up for the annual celebration of all things ukulele, we’re thrilled be operating a coach to and from the event. Meet fellow uke players on the way, and at night retire to the comfortable Eyre Hotel in Galway city for the duration of the festival.

Galway Uke Fest has multiple venues in the bouncing Latin quarter, full of ancient pubs, cafes and music on every corner. The main performance stage is in a huge Marquee set in a city centre park. From the lively streets of Galway to the far reaches of social media, the festival has captured hearts and sparked smiles with its infectious tunes and boundless camaraderie.

Over the three days of the festival there will be many chances to strum, performances by your favourite Uke acts on the main stage and pop up shows in the Latin Quarter. The acts will also be offering many different workshops (extra charge for some) covering a wide range of topics.

There will also be the unforgettable flashmob where hundreds of Uke players meet in the city centre, with last year’s flashmob generating over 1,000,000 views on YouTube!

This really is a fabulous festival and you will come home with a head full of incredible memories, a bevy of new friends, new ukulele skills and a warm glow, not just from the excellent oysters and Guinness!

He runs Ukulele workshops at our Costa Festivals and transfers his love for the Uke to our river cruises, so much so that he is running a very unique ‘Sail and Strum Rhine River Cruise’ in September 2025, perfect for those looking to combine their love for music with the luxury of cruising!

He has also been a producer / musical director for musical theatre.
